Plymouth to Provadia for Orphans in Bulgaria

A "mad man" (Toby) is driving his clapped out, 20 year old Honda cub c90 to Bulgaria this August,
He’s crazy, has no mechanical experience, no maps or navigation equipment and he’s never driven that far on anything in his life!
This is in aid of supporting education in Bulgarian orphans. A very worthy cause and here’s why:
Currently the orphans in the poor quality orphanages get fed, clothed and poorly educated, only to be kicked out at 18 and be forced into a life of prostitution and crime.
I want to raise the money to intervene at the point when they leave, give them a skill, maybe carpentry or typing or anything they can use in life as an alternative to crime.
"It broke my heart to see kids as young as 10 or 11 selling their bodies and stealing, things they would have witnessed their parents doing before being given up to the orphanage."

The plan for the exact route is that there is no plan for an exact route, the certainty is that Tobias will leave Plymouth and arrive in Roscoff with the ultimate destination being Provadia, north east Bulgaria where much of the charity work is done.

Overall he should visit England, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Bulgaria in that order, additional countries are subject to fleeting desire.

Official government statistics show that between 2001-2005 only 8 young people leaving state care were able to find paid employment.
For many, crime, drugs and prostitution become their only means of survival.

20 year old Tobias Cattrall was born and raised in Devon, England.
He went to Bulgaria in 2005 to help out in a rural orphanage was touched by some of the sad stories of kids his own age, now in 2010 feels it’s time to do something about it!
